Two San Luis Obispo residents were arrested in an overnight DUI checkpoint.
San Luis Obispo Police screened drivers of 501 cars that passed through the checkpoint at Foothill Boulevard and Chorro Street between 9:45 p.m. and 2 this morning.
Timothy Liebel and Roxanne Sanchez, both 20, were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to police. They were taken to County Jail without incident.
Police remind anyone who has been drinking to designate a sober driver, call for a ride or walk.
