Elderly Pismo Beach woman missing
Pismo Beach police are looking for an elderly woman who walked away from her home Tuesday.
Helen Thompson, 81, was last seen going for a walk from her home at 150 Capistrano Ave. She headed west at about 5:30 p.m., according to police.
Thompson is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 95 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes. She is possibly wearing a maroon felt hat, a khaki trench coat and jeans, according to police. She also uses a cane.
Thompson possibly suffers from dementia, according to police, and becomes confused easily.
Anyone with information about Thompson is asked to call the Pismo Beach Police Department at 773-2208
